The Revenue for 1894 was Estimated at $2,007,210
the revised Estimate (when these 1895 Estimates were prepared) was $2,120,344
The Governor in his speech of 27th Nov. last estimated it at $2,186,500 but it appears to have actually reached $2,262,000 [ref trips] 2891/65]
that is the largest Revenue that has ever been reached.
The excess has not apparently been caused much, if at all, by the War, because the increases are under the following Heads;
Postage, Interest,
(3) Profit on S. Military, Coin, and other Miscellaneous Receipts,
